Brand Message

In 1969, Mr. Edward Bou Habib established the first Wooden Bakery in Jal El Dib, Lebanon with the simple vision of providing the people of his homeland with freshly baked, quality bread. Over the past decade, Wooden Bakery revolutionized the industry in Lebanon by setting new standards and upgrading its products and services. Edward's two sons Assaad and Ghassan Bou Habib designed the new concept in 1996with an innovative spirit and an experienced management team. The first Wooden Bakery retail outlet opened in 1999 with the first franchise operation to follow in 2002. Today, Wooden Bakery has expanded to over 50 locations in Lebanon. In 2009, Wooden Bakery launched its first overseas Master Franchise Operation in Saudi Arabia and has expanded its international operations to Qatar and the UAE with plans to open shop in Iraq and Kuwait in the near future.
